Find your grant

Grants for small-business tech projects in the UK come from many places: councils, growth hubs, enterprise agencies, the devolved governments and national programmes like Made Smarter. They pay towards software, apps, websites, online shops, AI and automation. Many pay a share of the cost rather than all of it, and many ask for a written quote from a supplier before you apply.

This list brings the ones we know about into one place. For each scheme you’ll see where your business needs to be based, how much it pays, whether it’s open and when it closes, with a link to the funder’s own page and the date we last checked it. A scheme we haven’t re-checked in 45 days comes off the list until we have.

Answer the three questions below to narrow it down, then open a scheme to see who can apply.

A free supplier quote, in 72 hours

Many grants ask for a written quote from a tech supplier before they’ll consider an application. We’ll write yours for free, ready to submit.

If your application succeeds and you choose us, we build it at the price we quoted. If it doesn’t, you owe us nothing.

  1. Tell us about the project

A few lines are enough, or send your scope document. Tell us which grant you’re applying for and when the round closes.

  2. Get a fixed-price quote within 72 hours

Written for a grant application: a fixed price, milestones and deliverables, a payment schedule and a statement that we’re an independent supplier.

  3. Submit it with your application

The funder decides who gets funding. If you’re awarded the grant and choose us, we build it at the price we quoted. If not, there’s nothing to pay.

What’s in the quote

The same structure as the quotes we write for paying clients, with everything an assessor looks for.

Fig. 01 — Cover and pricing pages
A fixed price
One price for the work, with the day rate it’s based on, so an assessor can see how it adds up.
Milestones and deliverables
What gets built in each stage, how long it takes and how you’ll know it’s done.
A payment schedule
Payments tied to the milestones, which most funders ask to see before they release money.
Assumptions and exclusions
What the price includes, what it doesn’t, and what we need from you to keep to it.
An independence statement
A plain statement that we’re an independent company with no connection to your business.

How many quotes each grant asks for

Some funders want more than one quote so they can compare prices. We write one. If your grant asks for more, the others have to come from other suppliers.

How we keep it above board

Grant money is public money, and funders check quotes. These are the rules we keep to on every one.

We quote what we’d charge
The price in the quote is the price you’d pay. We never size a quote to fit a grant.
One quote, from us
If your funder asks for more than one quote, the others have to come from other suppliers. We won’t write comparison quotes.
Your share stays yours
When a grant covers part of the cost, you pay the rest. We don’t offer discounts or rebates that would cover your share.
You write the application
We supply the quote and a technical scope you can draw on. The application itself is yours.
We’re independent
ZeroPixel isn’t connected to any funder, and a quote from us can’t change your chances. We list schemes to help you find them.

Grant questions

What people ask before they send us a project. Anything else, ask us directly.

Is the supplier quote really free?
Yes. There’s no charge and no obligation to use us. You’ll have it within 72 hours, and often sooner.
Do I have to use ZeroPixel if I get the grant?
No. The quote commits us to the price, and you’re free to choose. If you go ahead with us, we start at the price we quoted.
Will a quote from you help my application succeed?
The funder decides who gets funding, using its own criteria. A clear, well-scoped quote helps an assessor understand the project, but it can’t change the outcome on its own.
Which grants ask for a supplier quote?
Many grants for tech projects do, especially proof-of-concept and digital adoption schemes that pay for outside help. The scheme’s guidance will say. Where we know a scheme asks for one, we say so in the list.
How do you keep the list up to date?
We check each scheme against the funder’s own page and show the date we last did. A scheme we haven’t re-checked recently comes off the list until we have. Deadlines and rules can change at any time, so always confirm on the official page before you apply.
Can you write my grant application?
No. You know the business best, so the application should come from you. We’ll supply the quote and a technical scope you can draw on.
What if the grant only covers part of the cost?
Many grants pay a share of the cost and expect you to fund the rest. Our quote shows the full price so you can work out your share. We don’t offer discounts that would cover it.
Do you work with businesses across the UK?
Yes. We work remotely with businesses in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Are you connected to any of these funders?
No. ZeroPixel is a trading name of Milex Systems Ltd, an independent company. We list schemes to help you find funding, and we don’t run or represent any of them.

Need a supplier quote?

Tell us about the project and the grant you’re applying for. You’ll have a fixed-price, grant-ready quote within 72 hours, free.
