These terms, and who they are with
This website is operated by Milex Systems Ltd, trading as ZeroPixel, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12168672, with its registered office at 9, 50a The Viewpoint, Sheep Street, Northampton, NN1 2LZ, United Kingdom.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. “We” and “us” means Milex Systems Ltd; “you” means the person using the site, and the business you are using it on behalf of.
Two related documents sit alongside this one and take precedence within their own subject matter: the audit tool terms for the free website audit, and the privacy policy for personal data.
Using the site
You may read this site, and print or download extracts, for your own use or to share internally with colleagues, as long as you do not alter them and you keep any notices attached.
You agree not to:
- Use the site or its free tools for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or intended to harm anyone.
- Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, server or database you are not authorised to reach, or to probe, scan or test its security without our written permission.
- Introduce anything malicious — viruses, trojans, logic bombs — or otherwise interfere with the site’s operation or availability.
- Attack the site by denial-of-service, or place a load on it designed to disrupt it for others.
- Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from the site, or use automated systems against it, beyond ordinary search engine indexing.
- Use our free tools in a way that circumvents their limits, including by cycling identifiers, addresses or browsers to obtain more scans than the published allowance.
- Reproduce, republish or resell any substantial part of the site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
A serious breach of this section may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Where we consider it one, we will report it, and we will disclose your identity to the relevant authorities.
Our content
We own or are licensed to use everything on this site — the writing, the design, the code, the illustrations and the layout — and it is protected by copyright and, where applicable, trade mark law. Nothing on this site transfers any of those rights to you.
Work shown in the portfolio and case studies is presented with the relevant client’s agreement, or is our own. Their brands and marks remain theirs, and their appearance here is not an endorsement of you or of anything you do.
Rights in work we produce for a client under an engagement are dealt with in that engagement’s own contract, not here.
Enquiries, quotes and proposals
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Prices, timescales and capability statements are indicative, and sending us an enquiry does not create a contract or oblige either of us to proceed.
Work begins only when we have issued a written proposal or statement of work and you have accepted it. That document, and any terms attached to it, governs the engagement — and where it conflicts with this page, it wins.
Please do not send confidential information through the enquiry form. It is a first contact form, and until an NDA is in place we cannot treat what arrives through it as confidential. Tell us enough to have a useful first conversation, and keep the rest for that conversation.
Free tools
We offer a free website audit at /audit. It has its own terms, because it does something to a third-party website rather than just showing you a page — please read the audit tool terms before using it. Free tools are provided as they are, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and carry no service commitment.
Availability and accuracy
We work hard on this site, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice, and we will not be liable to you if it is unavailable for any period.
The content is provided for general information. It is not advice, and you should not act on it without taking advice appropriate to your circumstances. We make no representation that the content is accurate, complete or current — although we correct anything we find to be wrong.
You are responsible for the arrangements needed to access the site, and for making sure anyone accessing it through your connection knows these terms.
Links to other websites
Where this site links elsewhere, those links are provided for information only. We have no control over the content of other sites and accept no responsibility for them, for any loss arising from your use of them, or for their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, and because this site and its free tools are provided to you at no charge:
- We exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or equity.
- We will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, loss or corruption of data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
- Our total liability to you in connection with this site and its free tools, in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, is limited to £100.
These limits do not apply to paid engagements, which have their own liability terms agreed in the relevant contract. If you are using the site as a consumer rather than for business purposes, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything on this page.
Privacy and cookies
We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy, and store only what is set out in our cookie policy. Using this site means those documents apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page; the version and date at the top tell you when we last did. Check back occasionally, because the version in force is the one published when you use the site. Changes do not apply retrospectively to an engagement already agreed.
Governing law
These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues in force. If we delay in enforcing a term, that is not a waiver of it.
Questions about these terms go to sales@zeropixel.io, or by post to The Viewpoint, Sheep Street, Northampton, NN1 2LZ, United Kingdom.
