What we are aiming for
We build websites for a living, so it would be a poor look if our own were hard to use. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site, and we treat it as a build requirement rather than a retrofit.
In practice that means we hold ourselves to:
- Body text at a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, and large text at least 3:1.
- Every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Accessible names on every control, link and image that carries meaning.
- A reduced-motion alternative for animation, so the site respects the setting your operating system already has.
- Semantic headings and landmarks, so the page can be navigated by structure.
- Layouts that hold together at 200% zoom and down to a 320px viewport.
How conformant we actually are
Partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard, and some parts do not yet. We would rather say that than claim full conformance we have not independently verified.
This site has been assessed by us, not by an external auditor, using a combination of automated tooling, keyboard-only navigation and manual review. A third-party audit has not been carried out.
What we know is not right yet
Being specific is more useful than being reassuring. As at the date on this page:
- Scroll-triggered animation. Most sections honour your reduced-motion setting. A few older components still animate on scroll regardless, and we are working through them.
- The homepage hero video. It is decorative, muted and loops. It has no audio track and carries no information, but it currently plays without a visible pause control.
- The audit report. Reports contain dense, data-heavy sections. They are readable with a screen reader, but the reading order of some score groupings is not as clear as it should be.
- No skip link. Keyboard users currently tab through the navigation on every page rather than being offered a jump to the main content.
These are on our list. If one of them is what is blocking you today, tell us and we will prioritise it.
If something does not work for you
Please tell us. It is the fastest route to a fix, and it tells us what actually matters as opposed to what a checker flags.

Scope of this statement
This statement covers https://www.zeropixel.io and everything served from it, including the free audit tool and the enquiry form. It does not cover websites we have built for clients, which are their own responsibility and have their own statements.
It was prepared on the date shown above and is reviewed whenever a significant part of the site changes. We are not a public sector body, so the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to us — we publish this because our obligations under the Equality Act 2010 are real, and because a web agency that will not say where it stands is telling you something.
