Find your grant

In Wales, much of the grant money for small tech projects is run by the local authorities, each through its own business growth programme. These usually pay a share of the cost of software, a website, online systems or equipment, and expect the business to fund the rest.

Business Wales, the Welsh Government’s business support service, is the place to ask about national programmes and loans, and it can point you to your council’s current fund.

Council rounds often open for short windows, so check the closing date on each scheme and confirm it on the council’s own page.

How many quotes each grant asks for

Some funders want more than one quote so they can compare prices. We write one. If your grant asks for more, the others have to come from other suppliers.
